Although my 2023 hunt is over - I’m looking at 2025 for a hunt in Region J or T for Antelope or Mulies. Wondering how they faired down in that area with this past winter?

Looking for Mule Deer and/or Antelope. Don’t have many points yet. 2 points each so far and looking for a 2025 or so hunt so I’ll have 3-4 points by then.

Mostly private land in 22. You’re going to have a lot of company on the public. Best find a guide.

North and west of Casper I believe. He didn’t have me apply yet. Waits until mid May. We were talking about applying for Unit 22 as I have some points and he thought I could draw there. Not 100% sure what other units he guides in though but I know he guides in several.

Just wondering how bad it was in the Casper area? Have a hunt booked with an outfitter. Sounds like I may be facing a big disappointment for my first Mule deer hunt.

Pat’s did a great job for me last year. Right around $100 for my goat give or take.

I just emailed the outfitter. He’s cut the number of hunts and said with 4 points I should have 100% odds of drawing a good limited entry tag for one of his ranches. Sounds like he’s doing the right thing and I have good odds. I think I’m gonna go back to WY and hunt with him.

Yeah, a little more than needed but it’s meant to be a multi purpose rifle - Mulies and Elk as well. Can’t be too dead though.
