I heard from my father in law at Weiser and also a person I know in Halfway that 41 head of elk died when crossing Brownlee Reservoir and fell through the ice. That really sucks. Don't know if someone actually saw it happen or just saw the remains later on or what.

Looks like the general deer opener on the 10th will be mighty cool (70 degrees). Mid 50's this week. Wish it was that way during the elk archery season but Ill take it now for this hunt. 70 degrees will be super nice. That heat is a bear to deal with.

Well I came across a single shot 12 gauge stamped KK on its side. No other markings besides a serial number. Its a neat old gun that breaks down into 3 piecs. From what Ive read its a hardware store type but any ideas what its worth? Is it worth $100 in good condition? Thanks, Josh

Went scouting this morning in 31 and seen one H*** of a big bull. All by his lonesome. Followed him to where he brushed up in a ravine and layed down. The season draws nigh... day by day... Im starting to feel the fever...
