    Actually that realization is what has me thinking about a guide. The are my son and I hunted is actually that whole vicinity but it was all that altitude. If the bucks are higher at the beginning I’d be going in kinda blind. Thanks for the response BYW

    Well 16 years after signing this tag over to my then 16 year old son I’m going to get my crack at it. I always figured that I would hunt in the same area he an I did, around the area known as White Pockets. That may be exactly what we do but I’m contemplating using a guide for the first time...

    Osprey packs anyone?

    I’ve had it one trip so far, but I have a Stratos 36 for hunts where I’ll be able to go back for a ‘pack out pack’ It carries very comfortably. Great for warmer days due to the back panel design and it’s 2.5 pounds lighter than the Eberlestock daypack it replaced.
