This would never fly, but it should. No killing of yearling bucks. Hunters should be able to tell the difference between a yearling and an older buck. The one problem with 3 or 4 point or better is you get these huge 2 and 3 points that need to be shot, but live and they pass on those genes...

I agree 100%, I would much rather watch her kill an elk than kill one myself. She is my baby, so not looking forward to her leaving in 2 years. She she killed a small bull in Nevada the last day of the hunt 2 years ago.

It would be great to hear how you do. I would have traded the rifle Colorado tag for an archery Dolores tag in a heart beat. I had a solid buck at 20 yards that would have been tough to pass, by far bigger than anything I saw in Colorado.

After hunting unit 40 on the Colorado side, I would say this would be the year to have the tag. The deer migrated into Utah early. Not sure about huge bucks, but lots of nice bucks on the Utah side when I was there.
