Location??

When my wife had an Idaho Tag it seemed like the rut was pretty much done by the end of Sept to Begining of October. Middle of Sept would be my thoughts.

I spent the week before late season to the last few days of late season and I couldn’t turn up a good buck for my wife in 3 weeks. It really wasn’t what I was expecting. We saw one buck that would maybe go 160”

What season did you have??

My wife had the late rifle tag, we cut more lion tracks every day then the amount of mature bucks we spotted.

The best deer we saw was in the high 160s 3pt. We hunted pretty much the whole season as well. Seen lots of does. On the average we would see 40-50 does a day. Lots of dink bucks
