My girlfriend hunted with Birch Creek around the first of February and got her first elk on the morning of the 2nd day of hunting. Great staff who puts lots of effort into making you successful.

Totally agree. Dad and I hunted it about 10 years ago. Cold weather snap hit and bucks started rutting/fighting. Made hunting a little easier between that and less hunters.

Have you reviewed the DFW Spotkill Maps? Obviously 2021 map is likely not as representative due to the Beckworth Complex fire but previous years seem relatively concentrated and you can see which were Archery.

It is not a joke nor was it any attempt to imply it only effects NR's. I was just asking because it wasn't included. Just because I'm not a resident of WY doesn't mean I don't care about the livelihood of big game animals regardless of where I live.

Were there also changes to resident tag numbers? I didn't see where those would have been listed. Saw the changes to season dates, harvest requirements, and NR. Just curious if there are more changes we don't see in these papers.

We had cell service where we were at in G. On the ridgetops around 9,700 feet. Backpacked in 3 miles.

Sometimes random just comes down to luck. Put in for NV anterless elk 4 times as individuals. Girlfriend drew 3 out of 4. We each drew the last time we put in. Me with 3 points and her with 1 point. So my random number was drawn 10 times and hers twice.

Reminds me of when my dad and I drew X5B the year after most of it burned the year before. Nearly all the Intel we got was for areas with zero vegetation growth or water. Now with the reduced tag numbers it's likely close to OIL.
