I know this is backwards for a lot of people, but I especially like the Berger at close range. On deer sized game man it hits especially hard. They usually don’t make it out of sight and the one deer I shot that did run had a blood trail a blind man could follow. Probably not the best choice for...

Hello everyone, need help making a decision here. Trying to decide whether I should go with the 156 Berger or 140 Berger in my 6.5 PRC. This year, will primarily be close distances (200 yards and in) at deer and hogs. Thoughts?

reloading components being hard to find is in my opinion a reason to go with a well known cartridge. The 7 rem mag for instance, that has been around for decades, is fairly easy to find reloading supplies for, it shoots well and it’s a known killer. So many new cartridges that to me don’t have...
