Sako I've got a Rem, Weatherby Vanguard, and Sako. By far, I prefer the Sako over the rest. They are all accurate enough, although the Sako will outdo the others, and I'm not a great shot. But the Sako feels the best, by far the best trigger (the Rem is the worst), the smoothest bolt, etc...

I agree with the point restriction, however I remember when they first instituted it, a know a co-worker who with his own eyes saw 3 forkers that were left for dead up in unit 2B. This is a good unit, so those hunters may have been succesful otherwise, so it's possible 6 deer were taken on 3...

Awesome bucks! The Non-Typical looks like the one on display in the KC Cabela's store, that was the original B&C NT world record when the record book was established.

I took my first bull last year with a .300 win mag, 180 gr. Core-Lokt's. One shot, fell right in his tracks. No complaints here....well, maybe one....if he hadn't fallen right away, it would have been a shorter pack out, as he was moving towards the truck when I shot him.

Snowman is correct; the permit is good for the listed rifle and muzzleloader hunts. There is no bow hunt on this permit.

Rifle: Oct. 15-19 Oct. 22-26 Nov. 5-9 Muzzleloader: Oct. 1-5 Plus I think it is good for an either sex bow hunt, but I will have to double check. Keep in mind that one of the hunts has to be chosen, you can't hunt each of the listed hunts. When you take the landowners permit into the G&F...
