I had the exact same thing happen. What I figured out is the back of my bullet was beveled, but the bottom of my sabot was flat which allowed the bullet to move side to side slightly (does that make sense) when it was pushed into the barrel. You can see the bevel at the bottom in this pic.

I currently have a 28' bumper pull jayco. I like it, and it's good for the family, plus I only have a F-150 which pulls it fine, but wouldn't pull anything bigger. I'd love to eventually move to a 5th wheel with our next trailer, as I like the floor plans and options in those a little more.

I use them quite a bit. Keeps stuff out of my boots, keeps the laces tied and keeps them from snagging on stuff. Keeps the snow out, and the pant legs dry. I have sitka ones that I really like. They're the only ones I've ever owned, so I can't speak to other ones.
