Spent much of my time in the big sage area. I did take a drive out to the tables, however there where already several guys out there. So headed to the west side of the unit and had success at Boles meadow.

First off, thanks to all the members for supporting this hunt. Drew this tag as 7th alt and am glad I did. After 23 plus years of putting in for the draw I can't wait to pick up my mount and show off my goat in the future.

Thanks for the offer, more info is always appreciated. Just found out today my coworker has access to a substantial piece of property up there and offered to let me hunt it. Says there is lope all the time, just hasn't had anyone they know draw a tag.

Received a call today offering me a Likely Tables lope tag for period 2. It isn't quite 1.5 billion, yet in Ca it is the same as hitting the lottery. I was #7 on the alt list. It is going to cut into my A3 tag hunt, guess it isn't a bad problem to have.

1st time hunting that unit, Put it as my 4th choice with 5 points. You can never complain about a Nevada tag especially as a non resident. To tell the truth I was really focused on an elk tag due to having 17 points. I'm really excited to get out on that unit.

To be honest I really didn't look at the draw odds. I based my comments on my dad drawing every 5th or 6th year for the last twenty plus years. He hunted 051 3or for times over that period of time but the seasons and tag quota were different if my memory serves me correctly. Guess we will see...

13 non-res Deer points and decided to split them with my dad per advice from fellow MM followers, continued to put in for preference points for elk, sheep, and goats. See how it goes, should draw for 051 as a party and hopefully have some luck.
