This is the best outcome for all involved. Old guys still have a chance and get a slight benefit for all those $2000 loans and $150 donations to WYGF, new guys have a chance from day one and to build equity, and WYGF still gets everyone to apply and infuse all that cash.
I have a number of friends who guide brown bears up in all areas of Alaska. They prefer clients to use the tipped X bullets; that’s a BIG .300, that is plenty with the proper bullet no doubt.
If I were a guide I would have a pair of RF binos. As just a regular guy, I like a separate unit as RF technology changes so quit, I’d rather have the latest and greatest without selling a $3000+ unit all the time to stay current.
I used 10x42 ELs among other alphas for many years. I bought a...
Still have a few. Haven’t taken any to Alaska in years but they still get some use when called for. No issues. This one I stripped off the factory high gloss and redid everything with an antique oil finish.
I’m interested in how/why the process changed from charge for the tags and then publish results before the 5/31 deadline as it has been for as long as I can remember to publish results 5/31 and then charge cards after.
And why shut off the card updates 10 days before charging? Seems like a...
Exactly. Why not transplant them to areas that are stagnant and/or struggling. There is all kinds of money available to do that type stuff thru WSF, GSO at least.
And when he does that and it is not enough, because it is never enough, he will start taking away resident opportunities, give them to his rich clients, and continue to line his pockets at an ever increasing rate.

Sy has never been on my side. I’ve never wanted to use an outfitter. I obviously will not quit, but my original plan is not ever going to work now so will have to sharpen my pencil. Going to take a different approach and more boot grinding.
Nope. Sheep point 24. And my odds are worse now than applying for Desert Sheep in California. Which I never did because of the price vs. odds. In one fell swoop you go from having a 25% chance to draw the tag you spent your adult life building towards to absolutely no chance. Hopefully Sy’s...
Yep. Got tired of SFW’s never ending stealing of NR tags and decided to bump my buddy, who wanted to archery hunt one of those units and is right on the edge, with my 23 points. I’m very much looking forward to a few weeks in September hunting with a friend.
Well, I never planned to have 17 deer points. Every time I was ready to use them there was a massive winter kill. Wanted to archery hunt the Gunnison basin. Now that I have all those points I’d like to experience one good November rifle rut hunt and then I will never have those points again and...
Kevin Weaver is very well known. He does a great job for the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society building their auction rifles. I buy tickets for all of them.
What twist is the barrel?
That is a fine piece.
Last year I drew two great AZ tags. In both cases, I had given up looking at my credit card for charges and was surprised when I opened my portal after getting the updated email. Both charges came in within two days of the portal updated email when I checked my card after the fact. I’m not even...
