    2023 Cc hits post.

I can't tell if it's Utah DRW or Wildlife Administrative Services but there's definitely no reason this process takes over a month. It's not like they have to figure the process out. Their western neighbor has it completed in 9 days!

    Neveda results in 7 days!

I got my NR sheep tag with 11 points so anything is possible. Good luck!

100% conversion to NR (premium NV archery bull) FCFS 2021

If my point had no merit you wouldn't be crying about NR hunters getting tags.

100% conversion to NR (premium NV archery bull) FCFS 2021

Wildlife belongs to the people of the US and is managed as a trust by the states. Your fantasy that these animals belong to you as a resident of a given state it laughable. You're entitled to your own opinion, but, you're not entitled to your own set of facts.

100% conversion to NR (premium NV archery bull) FCFS 2021

You're conveniently overlooking the fact that the federal government can legally, if it chooses, manage all wildlife on federal land. That means the federal government can (again, if they choose) legally dictate who hunts what animals on 84% of the land in NV.

100% conversion to NR (premium NV archery bull) FCFS 2021

Non residents of NV include those who are paying all those gaming and tourism dollars. Welcoming visitors on one end while saying FU to visitors on another (hunters) is pathetic.

100% conversion to NR (premium NV archery bull) FCFS 2021

That's an interesting take for someone who's state relies quite heavily on dollars from non residents.

    Nevada was generous this year

Nevada was generous to me as well. I got an archery deer tag, a bear tag, and a desert bighorn sheep tag. Good luck on all your hunts!

    Watch today's Wildlife Board meeting

    >Scottie, >How about we figure out how >to get back to 800,000-1.2 >million mule deer in Utah >and then you can do >just that! You have >any ideas on how to >accomplish that? Or are you >just interested in shooting deer >until we have less than >300k or 200k or 100k? > What's your...

    Watch today's Wildlife Board meeting

Maybe it's time for hunters to let other hunters shoot whatever they're happy with legally shooting? It's up to each individual to decide what they're looking for from a given hunt. If you want any legal deer then the choice is yours. If you want a B&C buck then you are making that choice as well.

    Burro Mountain hunt area

My daughter got her first deer tag for the Burro Mountain hunt area and I'm thinking about getting a guide. Does anyone have any recommendations for an outfitter who hunts that area? Thanks!

Why would they wait for Nevada when they're 2 different companies doing the draws? Systems Consultants does Utah but no longer does Nevada's.

    072 ndow greed?

This is the first time in 9 years I haven't applied for the 072 archery hunt. The new dates make anything deep in the wilderness off limits to anyone without horses because of the likely hot weather. That is unfortunate for sure.

    072 ndow greed?

    >Im not sure about everyone else....but >i am not always honest >on my hunting reports. That's unfortunate. When game agencies use this information as part of their management planning you're allowing them to make decisions based on BS. That can have a negative impact on herd management as...

    072 ndow greed?

Even though the success rates are going down the number of bulls taken are going up. That's the only number that matters. Now, it may not be going up enough to make a real difference, but it is going up. That being said, I think the change in rules for the waiting period will mean more bulls...

Non Res LE Elk Tag Question

LAST EDITED ON May-20-17 AT 10:32AM (MST)[p]In 2015 I got the only nonresident LE bull tag for the Deep Creek unit with 2 points. That's obviously the exception rather than the rule, but shows that luck can sometimes defeat statistics.

    Utah Draw Issues???

    >Maybe...just maybe... >NONE OF YOU DREW A TAG >AND THAT IS WHY YOU >HAVE NOT SEEN ANY CREDIT >CARD HITS!!!!!!!!!! That could very well be the case. I do however find it very unlikely that everyone on here knows nobody who has drawn a tag.

    Utah Draw Issues???

Maybe Utah has simply started doing what Nevada does. Nevada used to charge cards before results were released, but now you know the results before you are charged. It's the same company running both draws so it would be easy to duplicate.
