I've been looking at the CDS for one of my rifles, I was worried if the turret was exposed it would get spun easily going in and out of a rifle scabbard, anyone had any issues with this?

There has got to be a material that a guy can buy and make his own layered target. Back in the day I remember seeing cardboard stacked and sandwiched betweeen 2x4's and threaded rod.
