Thanks for all your help guys. Never saw a single elk. Saw a 4X4 buck, a cow moose, a bull moose and a pair of wild turkeys lol... Maybe next year.

So we checked out several areas that people have recommended since the snow has been moving. I've seen deer and moose lol. Anyone seen any Elk in the East Canyon area?

Never seen a muzzleloader shot before. What is shooting a muzzleloader like? How far can you ethically shoot with a scope on a muzzleloader? How fast can you reload? How much more likely are you to draw out for a muzzleloader hunt than a rifle hunt?

@matt23 if you have any suggestions then I would love to hear them. Looks like I need to just map out all of the public land and see if we can find some good spots.

Thank you! Yeah, I had no idea this site existed until someone pointed me here. I've had a few people point me to some public land areas that may work. Maybe we don't need to find a private land owner lol... That would be great. Do private land owners usually come to sites like this to find...
