Both bucks killed road hunting. The hard horned buck was shot on the muzzy hunt and was no more than 10 yards off the road and all I could see was the tips of his horns behind some dead logs.

Nope. Been doing a lot of glassing in a lot of areas with no success. A tuff hunt for sure. I have seen a lot of elk in my glassing adventures though.

Thanks Ringneks. I do plan on doing a lot of glassing and covering a lot of ground. Maybe I can shoot a spike elk and sit over that gut pile.

Damn joke all the feeders and big ass water tanks clustering up the land. The bad thing is that these guys own a **** load of private but put all the feeders and tanks on a little chunk of private.

So does this include homemade water sources as well? I know of a place on the Manti where I counted at least 8 home made feeders and big water tanks under tree stands last year on public.

I drew the Manti Fall bear spot and stalk tag. I had quite a few momma bears and cubs on my camera last year but nothing that looked like a male. Anybody have any suggestions on any areas that hold bears on this unit? Thanks

I do not. When I bought the rifle I got a whole lot of bullets with it. The 221 is a sweet shooting dog killing machine.

Not good in the part we have been hunting. A few 2 points here and there but not many.

Sit on water. We have bulls coming in on our cameras everyday around 10 a.m drinking out of a little mud hole.

Rough, Nasty and Steep! All roads are on the top and the only hiking is straight down and back up. Avinny gets a lot of pressure these days on all deer hunts.
