Have any of you watch the series" Discovering, 906 Outdoors. I found it on the u-tube channel the other day - interesting to listen to the old timers talk about the way they hunted and the hunting camps that have been there for decades.

Just wondering what rifle you are using to hunt big game. My rifle of choice for the past 40 years is a Remington 721 30-06. I have taken several elk and deer with this gun. It originally had a 3 power weaver scope, upgraded to a 4 power Weaver and now has Nikon 3 x 9.

Very hot and dry in my area. We had a lot of snow during the Winter but turned off hot and has dried up the fields. Seeing very few deer, a couple of bachelor groups, mostly young bucks. We need some moisture.
