    Mule Deer Wall Pedestal

I'm looking for ideas for a wall pedestal. This is a form that McKenzie makes. I do like it, but I'm wondering how it looks finished. Does anyone have any other forms or finished work that they could share? Thanks!

    Nightguard 2000

Last spring and this fall I had a bunch of bears hitting my bait but mostly at night. I was told about this product but I don't know much about it. Has anyone tried one of these? I'm tempted to get one, but at $500 i'm a little hesitant. I hope it would help the "night bear" problem, but who...

    elk antlers

My son and I both killed nice bulls with our bows this year in Wyoming. In the process of completing european mounts, the antlers seems to have lost some of their dark brown color. I've heard that rubbing the antlers down with vegetable oil will help bring back some of that color. Suggestions?

    honey holes

I see more and more people asking for places to hunt, look for sheds, or scout out. They always say, "I'm not looking for any honey holes, but...." Anyway, I thought that I would post this picture of my last outing with my boys. We hiked hard... up down and ridges and different canyons, but at...

My son's first day hunting elk

I've already posted this... but I thought it was very appropriate in the youth forum. Where to begin!?!? My son played football over the Labor Day weekend so our annual bow hunt was put on hold. He begged me to go because this would be his first elk hunt. I was very reluctant due to fuel costs...

City Creek Center - Mule Deer?

This last weekend my wife talked me into going to the City Creek Center mall. I thought, "At least they had a Swarovski store that I could check out while she shopped." To my dismay, the store was full of glass and diamonds instead of binos and spotting scopes! Then I find this plaque of what...

Am I the only who keeps checking the G&F website to see when the sheep, moose, and goats results will be up? I keep thinking that they have to be close to having the results up. I don't know why I keep checking? I'm sure my results will have the normal response?.. unsuccessful. However, it's...

LAST EDITED ON Mar-05-12 AT 10:54AM (MST)[p]A question for all of you out there. How high will preference points go? recipes for 300 win mag

First off - I'm new to reloading. However, I seem to feel comfortable and am happy with the Barnes tipped TSX 180 grains. It has a good BC and SD. The BC is not has high as Berger bullets but like I said, I think it's the bullet I want to try for now. But because I'm new to reloading, I'm open...

LAST EDITED ON Sep-27-11 AT 01:37PM (MST)[p]In your opinion where would be the WORST place (no deer, too many hunters, full of camps, etc.) to be on opening day in area 102. Wyoming archery antelope

I went out and checked my blind two nights ago. The area is real dry (which is great). Earlier this summer there was water everywhere, in the roads etc. There were trails that were turned to powder with goat tracks heading to the available water. We saw a lot of what we call "cookie cutter"...
