buck number 2 is the better scoring buck. that being said the inlines on buck number 1 are amazing. I think I'd shoot him over the 2nd buck.

I believe some units are getting better because the division has changed late cow elk seasons. There is no need to be hunting anything in late november and December. I think having less pressure on the deer has help but the main reasons still have to be really light winters. If we get one...

I say Yes same buck. If you have pictures of him either year after he's rubbed it makes it a little easier to tell.

They are starting to whistle a little now. The division has issued too many permits the last few year. Still lots of bull but smaller caliber. That being said. There are a few nice ones running around.

I like to use the width of the eye guards. On nearly every buck I've killed they are 8 inches apart. Some may differ and some don't have eye guards but thats what I like to do.

can you share another photo of that back. He is much more impressive than the one on the Henry's. Where is Strawberry bay outfitters out of?

The big bulls will start moving towards groups of cows. Its been my experience that they will try to move the cows into the steeper thicker nastier terrain to keep other bulls away from the cows. In the mornings and evening they will be feeding out of those areas to a little flatter ground so...

good antler growth this year. Scouting doesn't matter right now. All the bulls have started to move. Ephriams grave area will always be a good spot. I think the biggest bull of the year will come off of this unit this year.

Probably wont see that buck from the road ever again. Cool buck though from what I was able to see. The video wasn't all that great and bucks always look bigger running away.

The very best maps for the area can be purchased at Utah State University. They have topos they can print out. They are awesome maps. Or buy the Utah chip for your Garmin gps.
