The late Cody area hunts are better because you should kill something over 350. I would kill a 350+ bull with my max points then apply for about any unit with easy draw odds where you could find a 300 bull with a bow. Max points for a 300 bull is like buying a GT500 to get groceries.

If you're not going to shoot over 500 yards the 180 Partition will serve you perfectly. accuracy has always been good for me with it and performance is second to nothing. In my 300's my favorite is RE-22. 7828 or either 4831 work great too. if you can find them is a good question.
