I hunt mule deer in southern Oregon. I hunt elk in western Oregon where there is thick brush and a lot of hills. If I got the SPS stainless, I would probably get a Hogue stock. If I buy the sendero am I just paying for a better stock and barrel?

I am planning on getting a Rem 700 7mm rm. I wanted to get the XCR 2 but it seems like they just discontinued it. I am trying to decide between the sps stainless and the sendero. Is the performance from the sendero worth the extra $600? What are your opinions?
