    043-046

Go get em! If you are able to take some pics scouting without giving away where in the range you are then you should definitely post them. I have heard of some giants in the Tobins. Maybe not the density you will see in 43, 44 or 46.

    Winter Archery

Thanks. The nice thing about the unit I drew is that it generally doesn't have snow in the beginning of December. The deer are moving over from CA and some resident deer. If anything it might be a little wet from rain.

    043-046

Don't know much about the Tobins but know that there are plenty of deer all over those ranges. What is interesting about 043-046 is that its one of the few places where I see deer at all elevations in every range. And not just small deer, 4 points seem common around the 6000ft elevation. Good...

    Winter Archery

I drew a December archery tag in Nevada. My first ever cold archery hunt. Wondering how the strategy changes. I am used to hunting in summer, being up as early as possible and bedding them down as soon as the sun comes up. Will the cold weather keep them up and active for longer periods...

    051 Deer

It was 2 years ago. I didn't draw the tag last year, but had a buddy that did. Wasn't in the same area, or it was but he just couldn't find it.

    Migration Question - 021 Archery

Thank you all for the replies. I am well aware of the decline in mule deer herds on both the CA and NV side so that info comes as no surprise. I am looking forward to hunting in the cold, it beats 100+ degree days hiking straight up the Santa Rosas.

    Migration Question - 021 Archery

From what I understand the resident herd is pretty small, some big, but numbers wise its pretty thin. I guess I was more curious about if this winter turns out to be as light as is being predicted what would someone expect to see from a numbers game in these ranges. just hoping for some...

    Nevada mule deer unit 181-184

Stillwater range is tough but from maps looks awesome. lacks water though. Buddy of mine has found some decent bucks in the Desatoyas in years past. Good luck!

    22L deer

Depends on how hard you hunt and where you are going. Seen plenty of big bucks in here and plenty of small ones. Big ones are more difficult to find in this unit for sure. if the migration times our correctly I hear 022 can be awesome.

    Unit 015 Antelope

Had a buddy up scouting this weekend. PLENTY of goats in there. just have to put some boots on the ground and go find them. Good luck to you! If you find an archery release laying on a hill side PM me! hahaha.

    Migration Question - 021 Archery

Hi All, Never hunted the migration before and drew the December 021 Archery tag. Wondering if anyone has been in there during this season and if they have any stories to share. Its not a big unit so I basically know where I am hunting at. My question to anyone that has been in there...

    051 Deer

I have hunted 051 ALOT (easy tag for us archers). What people have said is mostly accurate here. The big thing is that if you want a mature buck then hunt high. you can shoot a 2 point if you spend a week in the aspen drainages. The Osgoods are OK, I hunted a group of 8 bucks for a week...
