I am putting in for the Mid season Manti unit this year. EB3126. What other hunts are open during Oct5-17th? I have been waiting many years to hunt Elk in Utah and hope I am making the correct choice any help would be greatly appreciated. Julius

The tag is transferable also.

That is a tough call. I stopped hunting deer after the 2023 winter. I will resume when the herds rebound. I too live in G. Where are you located?

blood clots of any kind can be deadly. Blood travels throught the circulatory system. If a clot travels through that sytem there is always a chance to have a stroke or pulminary embolism. I would follow up on your condition.

Ok I found out that there is a max of 2000 tickets but I doubt we will sell anywhere near that many.

The reason we chose to have a raffle instead of auctioning the tag off is we wanted everyone to have a chance instead of just the rich guy's.

The winner picks the species, Elk, Deer or Antelope. The winner picks the unit. No hunting in Teton Park.

The fee increase and going to 3 regions for non-residents General elk tags was pushed by the Outfitters lobbing. They bent Nesvik ear and got the Legislature to buy off on it. Told to me by an Outfitter in a General elk unit.

My son worked with Hoser @ Grass Valley Air Attack base when he was a tanker pilot.

You have to realize that the only way that landowners selling tags in Wyoming would happen is if the legislature passes it. The Legislature has the power not Game and Fish.

You are correct the shooter must purchase a License and all applicable stamps or permits. I don't think the Landowner can charge a fee to hunt on there land.

Wyoming landowner vouchers are free. No money changes hands.

I spoke to one ranch who was given 2 books of vouchers and she gave them out and is waiting for more.

Game and Fish implimented their plan 2 months ago. They are giving landowners where elk numbers are 3 times the objective level extra Cow/Calf tags. The landowner will pick who he gives the tags to. This will go on for the next 5 years. This info came from a Biologist in Laramie. He used unit 6...

I think the outfitters who use the day use permit from the USFS is what is the problem. Maybe Buzz can lend some insight as he works for the Agency.
