RFW is CPW's Ranching for Wildlife Program, in which Landowners get a guaranteed certain amount of tags, which they can sell, for any weapon, any season, for use on their land. In return they have to let a very selected (from the annual state draw) few who can draw the tag hunt on their land...

CPW really dropped the ball with this land transfer. There have been generations of people hunting on this land. Now all the sudden it is closed.. I doubt the CPW will get an agreement to continue public use, if so it will probably be very short time. Say goodbye to this lease, to bad the CPW...

Spent sept 24-27 up there scouting for a future elk tag, saw a lot of elk, and a few deer, some smaller 4 points, and a couple of bucky bucks 2 points. Sould be a good hunt, limited draw, good access, roads and open country, bring your good optics and hope for a little snow, GOOD LUCK
