3 points will do any weapon will be in good shape for any terrain budget 0-7500 looking for a good chance at a 330-350 type

Im at that stage with a few points and wondering whether to spend them now or wait a bit. Really just looking for a good hunt with a chance at something in the 330-350 range. Not a family deal, just me. Really just wanting to do some planning. Thanks for the replies.

Bubbles don't necessarily mean lungs----more important is the blood color. Real bright red will be lung and dark/maroon is liver. You didn't specify quartering to or from either, so you may have clipped one lung and got liver. Having said this I would give him the night and look in the am...

Im not opposed to a mask if it really makes a big difference, just never worn one whitetail hunting. I don't like the idea of one on my face shooting a bow, but who knows.

Every time I see those anatomy pics I always think about shooting the crease and shooting mid height. Seem logical to me to stay clear of that front shoulder if it drops low?? I tried to throw out a longer shot that one might take and see how you might adjust in terms of margin of error.

Well, I think it really varies on where you are hunting and what day of the hunt you are on for me. Personally, on my upcoming hunts I would not unless it's the last day. Unless I am way off it appears to be around a 290 inch bull which is no slouch, but not what I would be looking for early.
