Call the local warden. He gave me a couple names last year of guys, didn't end up going in the end, but he said they let guys on. Never got to a point of knowing if it was free or if they charged. Good luck!

If it were me I'd go. We've had some weather just in the last 12 hours, I'm sure they won't be in the same spots, but they might not be far from there. Don't think there is a ranch that charges a "reasonable trespass fee". Go, hunt, have fun, fill some tags!!!!

Well that's what i get for not looking on the G&F website. I did notice that there appeared to be way more people that applied or took 2nd and 3rd choice options, because the draw odds in some areas looked pretty bleak compared to years past.

I think a lot more people in general applied in Wyoming this year with the later application dates enabling people to know what tags they did or didn't get any many other states. I don't know if the new tag numbers are completely right as they are now for unit 38, but the population from...

I think that right now is the best time in recent years to get a B&C buck out of a lot of units. Mild winter, great moisture so far this year. I've been working on the road off and on the last 6 weeks and the bucks look really nice across all the areas in the state I've been.

Just looked at the backdoor, and they don't have any names listed for refunds yet, so I guess they must be sticking to the May 8th date. Good luck everyone!

After the Elk tag debacle in unit 7 last year my guess is the list has been made, but their checking it twice. I'm in for a Bison tag and can't wait to find out the results!

I was just on the lone tree ranch last week, and all I can say is wow. They get some monsters off from there. seven J is the outfitter that has the lease. Looks like it would be a good time. The lone tree ranch is 20 square miles, they got a pretty good area to cover.
