What is everybody's experiences with effective poundage for elk? Going to buy a recurve and want to use it for elk hunting just don't want to go to light on the draw weight. Thanks, Trevor

I know the game and fish site says the draw results are not available till the 28th, but does any one remember how early they announced it last year? My father in law put in for his first elk tag and I'm getting exited to find out if he's coming out hunting with me.
