Weather has been hot and dry... does not go well with hunting. Knowing your areas will help. Give me a call if you need a hot shower or help packing out.

My son has had a great year here in colorado taking his first bull with his bow and taking this nice buck last night.

My son and i were able to take these great bulls last week, It was a great hunt. It was his first bull with a bow ...Pretty darn fun.

The elk were moving up the hill, we were set up on top of the ridge , we were a little late as most of the elk had already gotten onto the timber. We heard the bull bugling as he was coming up and tried to set up in a place he would come by. He crested the ridge about 80 yards out heading...

My son was able to take this great bull last Thursday in Colorado. It was his first bull with his bow . Made a great 30 yard double lung shot...both he and i were very excited..

I will be up there this weekend i will let you know what i see. Heard it has been tough with the weather being so hot , cooler today with rain so that last week might be pretty good.Had the same tag in 2010 it was a blast

I was able to take this great buck Monday in Nebraska. He is my biggest whitey with a bow . he came in to the rattling horns looking for a fight ears pinned back and ready to go made a good shot at 30 yards . We saw some great deer and had a super hunt ended up taking 8 deer between the 5 of us .

Nothing says 40 inches like pictures....

Great buck....sure hope to see something close to that in Nebraska next week...

I was able to take this bull the last weekend of the season...double lung pass through at 40 yards had a great time with my son. He had a couple of chances at bulls but just couldn't close the deal can't wait for next year....

I will be headed out to Nebraska November 4-10th for whitetails we will be hunting around haigler just wondering how the deer look? Any chance they will be rutting? THANKS

been scouting for the archery season and actually been seeing more deer than elk.. the area that i hunt still has cows on it but as soon as they go the elk show up. Have a few on trail cams . Fresh snow on the San Juans this morning so should be a great day to be hunting tomorrow morning. good...

Ok guys thanks for the responses.... we are not stopping hunting we will hunt the late elk hunt and will be heading back to Nebraska for the kids to hunt .I just wanted to see if anyone got to the point where they said thats enough ......we are not there yet ... have given meat to family members...
