It was fun, saw a good amount of deer but no real big bucks. I only had a few days to hunt so the first chance at a decent four point I took it.

Thanks for the responses. I will try calling a few different operators. I'm leaning toward the CWMU route just to have a nice hunt that's not loaded with a bunch of hunters, even with not much of a chance at a smoker buck.

I have the Sig Kilo 2200. It works great and haven't had an issue out to 1000 yards with it. I had a newer model and something went funky with it and I couldn't get readings passed 500 yards. I sent it in to Sig and they sent me a brand new one. Customer service was great.

My brother has an elk hunt this fall that he is using a guide for and is wondering how much he should tip the guide? The main reason he is wondering is because my brother is bringing his own camp and food and the guide isn't providing any of that.
