I have been using peep sights fo close to 20 years. I couldn't use a fixed sight again. If sights are not field adjustable they are worthless to me. I take a rage on every shot. I set the sight for the shot, and hold dead on. Holding over or holding under is no way to hunt.

It won't have any impact at all. All of the lion hunters I know never shoot cats. All they do is run them. Guys that shoot them without Hounds are an insignificant number. Unless the hound hunters decide to kill more nothings going to change. If they kill more there will be less to chase.

I don't think they are underrated. They work well for a lot of guys. I actually recommend them if a guy is willing to do his own quality control. If they actually had any quality control and slightly hardened them they would be very good bullets.
