There not one, but you are against cutting deer tags because of the lack of opportunity it brings, but you are not in favor of cutting the early rifle tags that would help increase tags else where which would give more opportunity.

the problem with auction tags is not the money that comes in for conservation for me, its the fact that our wildlife management is catered to the auction tags and not to the health of herds or to the benefit of the public. Why didn't Utah completely go away from the early season elk rifle tags...

Just and FYI if you are not buying a CWMU tag and are just getting a general season tag and paying an outfitter to go on someones property you are more than likely going to be chasing mule deer the rest of the public chase on general season units, which is yearlings and 2 year old bucks.

im not trying to figure a debate of cattle use on public property, i believe both are necessary. i think that there are plenty of canyons and areas that have been overgrown that need to be thinned out, and the use of cattle would be beneficial. Cattle grazing helps in my opinion,

is if auction prices are up do the administration get raises for the year? Why isn't just a straight up, this is our administration cost and then everything else goes to conservation? There is a huge difference if you are taking 11% off of 1 million vs. 2 million vs, 5 million.

In 2016 utah had the best deer herd in history according to DWR.

Will Colorado never be the same, or is it hunters that will keep colorado down, if we keep lowering standards to shoot lower quality the standard will always keep dropping. I for one dont care about the score, more of a mature buck hunter, like to try and find one that has some age to it...
