Hahaha fair question. My wife (the cook) tones it down for everyone. Plenty of flavor with minimal burn on the back end.

Hello everyone. I have been guiding Mexico Coues hunts with Diamond Outfitters for about 15 years. In 2023 I was lucky enough to have a super talented videographer and good friend Dallas Hemeyer join us. This is the second video from that trip and I figured you might enjoy it. Dallas is super...

    2022 Arizona buck

Wanted to share my 2022 Arizona Muzzleloader buck. I glassed this buck up at 8 am and he was headed straight for his bed. Once I was sure he was bedded for the day, I made a stalk. Leaving my friend on the mountain I was able to make my way to within 100 yards by 11am. The buck was bedded...

    AZ Unit 42

42 is your traditional desert type hunt. Low densities of deer mean that you will spend a lot of time behind the glass looking at a lot of country. Weather, especially temperature will drive deer activity. I would expect bucks to be up for short spurts in the morning and evening. Get on google...

    Sonora!

    >Purchase life insurance... Ridiculous that people still have this impression of Mexico. I go to Mexico weekly. I hunt there for a month every January, my kids play baseball there, and I make several trips to our ranches every year. Mexico is no more dangerous than most of the urban areas in...

    Desert Mule Deer hunting tactics

I am not familiar with the area you want to hunt, and I am by no means a desert expert. I have killed a couple desert bucks in my time in Arizona. Feed is critical. Follow the rain, that is where good grass grows and where they will be. Chad Roberts is probably the best desert mule deer...

    Arizona Retirement Home

Sahaurita or that area would be my choice also. Great opportunities down south. Tons of mule deer, coues deer, bears, fishing. Not too far from elk country and you avoid some of the big city hassles you get further north!

    AZ Elk Application?

They have always checked the first choice before the second. The problem is that people don't make the bonus pass on their first choice but they do their second. If he is confident that 15 will get him into the max point pool and that they won't hit the NR cap before he draws, then his second...

    Tripods

Do yourself a favor and don't get the outdoorsmans. I spend over 150 days a year behind a tripod glassing and the outdoormsans lasted a month in my pack. The legs stick, the head is tough to get adjusted, pieces constantly coming loose, just not all it is cracked up to be. Look in to a...

    Andygrand 2016 HAC

With Mexico complete for the year it was again time for me to focus on the States. It was time for spring application season or as I like to call it "ramen and water" season because that is all I can afford to eat or drink this time of year. I usually put in for several states and almost always...

    Otc mule deer hunts

I'll bite since it doesn't look like you are going to get much help. I would recommend January as there are more units open. Your tag will not be unit specific so I don't think that finding a certain unit is as important as narrowing down the area you want to hunt. If you want to stay northern...
