Just curious, I have an oryx hunt coming in Feb. I am mostly an archery hunter so when it has come to rifle hunting I have used a .270 for everything. I have killed a couple of elk with it, so it seems like it would suffice but have heard other wise from a couple of guys. I am a little skeptical...

Not to steal meatinthepot's thread, but my wife and I also own a sign shop in Colorado and do vehicle graphics, wooden sandblasted and routed signs, three D letters, etc. I would love to get in on a mtn lion hunt and would love to trade some work for a hunt.
