Well I got a $40 charge yesterday around 3pm for my dad’s general season deer and on the same card, I put my son and myself in together as a group. Started losing hope but it just got another hit this morning for $80. So I guess there’s no rhyme or reason to the madness. Lol

How many points did he have? my dad was one over max from last years odds and it looks like they cut 22 resident tags which is about 30% of them and he didn’t draw with 12.

Ram I never received your pm. Just an update, I ended up killing a good buck. Not quite the caliber I was hoping for going into the hunt but one of the best I found. Overall great, fun hunt. I would love to do it again.

Back to the original post. I know one guy that turned it in. They gave him a couple options of hunting late season or issuing him the tag next year. I think that is exactly what they should do with the situation. Pretty bad deal with the fire.

That's kinda what we are seeing. A lot of 150-160 bucks and a few 170 class but no giants. Either way it going to be a fun year hunting, trying to turn up a stud!
