What times are most of you who get the re-issued tags actually getting them? I've been unsuccessful this year, but in years past have gotten tags at 11:06am and right at 11am... Mostly 0-2 point tags.

What did you choose? And how was it?

Being retired has it's benefits. Youth, over 55, and residents should have the preference on all these resissued tags.

It didn't matter who drew what tag. I'm saying two of us tried for a close to my home 0 point tag and the other a three point tag. We were miles apart. Now he's got to try for the 0 point tag again tomorrow... The reissued licenses are good for CPW, but a pain for people wanting to pick up...

I process my own meat as well, but save 26 lbs of trim for their Teriyaki sticks each year which turns into 52lbs of sticks, one pound for each week. My kids pound their teriyaki sticks and adults with varying preferences of meats all find them edible.

I have one non-resident preference point. I do have access to a decent chunk of land to hunt in a higher demand unit that I believe took 8.5 points to draw last year. If I apply for that given unit do I still have a chance(albeit slim) to draw in the "random draw"? Thanks

Yes, there is a lot of accessible land. Be aware though that most of the area is timbered, with a few areas of blow downs. Most of the lower elevations are prime deer habitat, but PRIVATE land. Deer are there, but not as frequent like the units to the west 11/211, etc. Or to the south in 15...
