38 is a type 9 archery. You can't do both. 23% success on bulls. That is all bulls so lower success on mature animals. With that being said it is a great unit with no grizzles or wilderness to hold you back.

I would say for the 3rd season it is totally weather dependent. The unit has gone down over the past ten years but we have done the best lower when there was good snow up high. In dry years the deer seem to be scattered and a lot of deer get hung up in the private.

You can draw this unit every year for archery or every other for muzzleloader. Not worth the points for the early rifle. You can draw most of the quality 3rd season units with 13pt. In the same time frame you could have hunted this unit 5-6 times on the muzzleloader.
