So the bugling depends where in the unit we are hunting when you say pockets. correct? I was definantly expecting them to bugle early and late, which at least will point you in the right direction. If they are not bugling, I would assume they would be in post rut, during this post rut time...

So your saying try to cut a track like when you hunt lions, and then follow it til you find the bull? The tracks of the bulls are usually much larger and more round then the cows correct? Kirk

I was up there too this weekend. Conditions were good. Saw 3 does, looks like with the temps they move real early and very late.. No sign of bears.. I will keep my eyes open while out hunting and see what I see.
