Disagree, I believe some thoughtful self-regulation also helps to keep external emotion based over reach at bay.

The buck-to-doe and fawn-to-doe ratio seems good, and will have positive future impact on the herd. But even if this winter doesn't end up being catastrophic, it doesn't sound like it's been an easy one, and may result in a slower recovery than I would hope for.

Another thing to consider is whether or not the CWMU has more than 1 tag to draw. If it doesn't you can't really predict when you'll even draw the tag.

Are you a Utah resident? Non-res can't apply through the draw for CWMU permits. You could buy one outside the draw though. Edit: You probably are a resident if you're only building deer points, otherwise you could do elk at the same time. The WY and ID info swap threw me off.
