Here is my 2008 Sheephole Ram. I went with Terry Anderson. Don Anderson does guide for Terry and Don is also a Taxidermist. The Sheepholes is the worst hunt, but you got the best odds of drawing!!

Thanks, yes, I know pretty much how the draws work in each state. Yes, I've been looking at statistics too. After looking at Arizona and Utah, I'm thinking I want to dump my points in Utah next year and get points in AZ and NV. I only want to actually apply for one elk hunt in Az, Nv, or Utah...

Thanks! I got 19 points in NV, 18 in Utah, and 17 in Az for elk. I don't want to draw two or three for the same fall. I'm planning what order I want to do this also. Right now it's a matter of where to apply to hunt elk next fall?

Thanks all!! BOHTR, I'm more competent with a rifle or muzzy. The issue with archery in the past for me has been the tremendous amount of patience it takes while hunting. I have, however, gotten more patient. I have not taken an assessment of my points and hunting Arizona Elk again.

I'm a non resident with 18 points in Utah, like Don. Howdee Don!! I'm about the same age as Don, I'm 57 and going for hip replacement surgery in March. Otherwise, I am in good health. What other units are better than this one, that are early rifle, that I would draw within 5 years? Thanks Bill
