2021 Idaho archery buck. I was lucky to find this buck this year after 18 hard days of searching. I watched him for a couple days before moving in and ambushing him as he headed to bed. He's got some really cool inline points.
This buck sure is a beast. Community member, SAGENINJA, shared this photo and a couple others in a thread called, "Cheater Buck Photo Contest". View it here...>>> https://www.monstermuleys.info/xf/threads/cheater-buck-photo-contest-win-a-daypack.187503/
2012, 2015, 2020 Idaho bucks. All of my bow kills are special to me but these 3 have either an incredible experience behind them or it was the most brutal season and hardest earned.

This is true. Years past I've only seen does and fawns bedded there. I'm glad I checked there that day. I assume the change in weather was there reason he bedded there that day. Either way I'll take it. It was a dream situation to find him after not seeing him for several days.
It was a nerve racking experience for sure. I shook for almost an hour after I walked up on him. He is a super special animal to say the least. I feel pretty lucky.
Very true. I had my eye on this buck since early July and never seen him bedded there. I assume he went there that day because it was extremely hot and the wind was blowing very hard.
Great pictures. I have around 100 pictures and lots of footage of the big typical and the non typical. there is just a few differences. 1: the big typical photo was taken in 2012. the 2015 photos are much more impressive, alive and dead. 2: the non typical photo was taken in early August just...
LAST EDITED ON Feb-18-13 AT 08:22AM (MST)[p]Sageadvice,
thanks for the compliment on my mount. The "happening" was the most chaotic thing I have ever seen. It has totally changed my outlook on what could happen while hunting. Nature always takes its course, I just happend to be there at the...
