Has anyone heard about how the elk hunts have gone thus far on the Caldera? I have the first rifle hunt in October and the time can't pass fast enough!

I just tried to log in to buy a turkey tag and take a peek at my draw hunts to see if anything had been posted by chance. The website says its down for maintenance so hopefully that means we might get our results a little earlier than expected.

I was hunting bear this weekend at the Sargent WMA and heard bulls bugling every morning. I thought it was a little early for them to start talking.

I leave for my hunt on the Sarent WMA in NM this week for bear. Has anyone seen any bear or have any info to share on the area as of lately? Thanks Justin

I drew out for one of the 10 tags for the bear hunt on the Sargent WMA. Does anyone have any advice for this hunt? I have never been to the area and heard I will be doing a lot of hiking. Thanks
