I an thinking about applying for an archery deer tag in unit 36 and just wondering if there is any big buck potential. Plan on backpacking the Eagles Nest wilderness. Not looking for and specific locations, just wondering if there is any decent bucks.
Thanks
My question is:
Should I use the arrow/ broadhead that I harvested my deer with last year as the #1 arrow in my quiver again this year. I am a little superstitious and last year was the first year I killed a buck with my bow, and I want to keep all the luck I can.
This has got to be the longest week of the year. I cant sleep and I have the phone # to my cabelas visa memorized. I am feeling the luck though. They drew on the 30th so we should be getting hits this week, anybody have them yet.
Here is a video clip of an archery deer hunt. The buck is a 160 inch 6 x 4.
