My oldest was able to harvest this nice cow after being skunked in the draw, we were able to pick him up a youth encouragement elk tag.

Went 1 for 2 on the youth hunt in unit 30, it was very tough hunting with limited numbers of deer seen. The bucks that we did find are still running as they never slowed down. My middle son was able to harvest this older deer opening morning.

My wife OIl oryx off the Stallion missile range was recent completed by Paul and Vince at Imperial Taxidermy in Santa Fe, these guys did an outstanding job!

All three of my boys were able to fill their tags recently on a mule deer hunt here in southern NM.

My sons Ibex mount from his youth Ibex tag last year is finished up, he was able to harvest this Billy back in January. Robert Major in Las Cruces did an amazing job on his trophy.

My son was able to fill his NM youth ibex tag January 2nd. This hunt had ups and downs but we were able to pull through and connect on a good Billy. He made a good shot at 200' at a steep angle using my 300winmag.

My son was able to get it done on the NM youth Ibex hunt!!! This hunt had its ups and downs between Mother Nature and truck problems bet we still managed to beat the ROCK!!!!

Here is my son with his elk he harvested in unit 36 on the youth encouragement elk hunt on the 26th of November. He was able to take this young bull at 250' using my 300 win mag with one shot. I am still supper proud of him.

My 2015 archery antelope is all finished up. I took this goat here in southeastern NM back in august on the bow hunt. I am very pleased with the work on him.

My son was able to harvest his first big game animal this past weekend in South Eastern NM.

I'm looking into getting a rifle for the wife and am trying to decide on what caliber to get. I want an all arround caliber that she could hunt anything from deer to elk. A rifle with a shorter stock would probably fit her better. I'm thinking about a youth rifle. Thanks Michael

The Artesia Bow Masters is having a kids/ adult shoot and hot dog cookout this Saturday from 8 till 12. Also there is a coon shoot at 9pm. The cost is 15 for one of the shoots and 20 for both if there is anyone interested.
