We killed her buck on her 4th day hunting .Yeah you could have herd us from Hwy 395.LOL. If you practice at 500,300 will be a chip shot. RS

My wife had the tag in 2112.We were patient and hunted hard, and she scored on a buck of several life times,probably the best buck that year. Get away from the roads and hunt high or at the snow line. have good glass and most of all practice with your rifle to 500 yrds .Shots will most likely...

Nimrod,350 bull is very realistic. I killed a 370ish bull. There were bigger taken last season.

Awesome rifle,I have one set up like that.Remington,Rock 28 in fluted barrel& HS stock.

I'm loading mine with Win 243 brass,H4350 powder & 130 VLD Bergers,with fed 210 primers.2830 fps. Also 120 tsx bullets,4350,fed 210 prmrs for 3000 fps. RS

Better buy 2,because your gonna be shooting it all the time. It recoils like a 243 & kills like a 300 mag. I shoot 130 bergers or TSX's.

Try barnes spitfires 285 grn with 110-120 of Blackhorn 209 powder,fed 209 primers, and do not clean between shots.Should do ya good. RS

All the info above is great.I hunted the Alaska Range.My outfitter recomended plastic boots such as Scarpas or Koflachs.I wore Koflachs and was glad I did.I also killed a great ram.I also used 2 poles.If your interested in some plastics let me know.Good luck on your hunt. RS
