I would highly recommend a guide by the name of Kearley with Hightop Outfitter especially if you don't have much time to scout. PM me if you consider a guide I can put you in touch with him.

The four guys were from Utah. Yes headed to Bethel September 18th hunt for ten days just two of us. Maybe we will cross paths at the lodge in Bethel.

Took a $40 hit so I guess I will have an archery deer tag in my pocket as I scout for giant bulls for clients. Good luck to everyone who has drawn limited entry tags this year. Looks like some fun to be had by some of you on the Book Cliffs!

I will let you know after this year. I have booked a drop camp with Papabear Adventures for this year. I had some friends go a couple years ago and all four came back with giant bulls. I am hoping for the same results this year. Just two of us going. Reasonable price but do it yourself hunt once...

I have tried both the Kennetrek and now the Zamberlain this past season. While I like the feel of the Zamberlain boots as they are a bit more flexible, the Kennetrek last me five plus seasons of putting down some serious boot tracks. After one year the Zamberlain are showing more signs of wear...

Congrats guys! Good luck on your hunts. Bookcliffs Archery Elk can be a great hunt! Had a buddy kill a great muzzleloader bull a few years ago on that unit.
