...last night with an ol' standby of meat raviolis & a homemade meat ball. Added a salad & garlic breadstick & had some fried calamari with a tangy dipping sauce along the way.

...again last night. The Cornish hens were on sale last week, 2 for $7.99. Coated them with olive oil & my all-purpose rub, then broiled them. White rice cooked in chicken broth, a creamy chicken-flavored gravy & some steamed green beans filled the rest of the plate.

...ceviche, baked beans & asparagus would be a good choice last night. Just to spice it up a bit, I added a juicy NY strip with peppercorn sauce & a batch of crispy fries.

...to dig into the leftover prime rib from Easter for last night's dinner. So I defrosted & warmed a big hunk, then added a baked tater, a few steamed asparagus spears with balsamic vinegar & a garlic breadstick. A bit of horseradish & some au jus was in order, of course.

experiment of the beef back ribs that didn't quite work out. I smoked them, then oven roasted them with a sweet & tangy BBQ sauce. They looked & tasted super. So what was the problem? There were about two bites of meat on each one. I wound up eating one of the country ribs to sate my appetite...
