    Midget chickens...

    ...again last night. The Cornish hens were on sale last week, 2 for $7.99. Coated them with olive oil & my all-purpose rub, then broiled them. White rice cooked in chicken broth, a creamy chicken-flavored gravy & some steamed green beans filled the rest of the plate.

    Had a craving yesterday...

    ...to dig into the leftover prime rib from Easter for last night's dinner. So I defrosted & warmed a big hunk, then added a baked tater, a few steamed asparagus spears with balsamic vinegar & a garlic breadstick. A bit of horseradish & some au jus was in order, of course.
