I like preference points. I'm okay with a 50/50 split, but random states like Idaho and New Mexico - is like wasting money for me. I never draw random. With that said, Wyoming is too much $$$ for their preference points.

Successful!!! Wow, I am still in shock. Goat unit G-10 3rd. I know nothing about the unit, but so excited I get to hunt a goat. Points were 3-13 going into the draw. Looking forward to scouting soon.

I have the trijicon tenmile 4x24-50.

I switched to a trijicon. I don't love the eyebox/relief, but the glass is great and it is ALWAYS on. Seems like some other scopes might be a couple inches to the left and the next year adjust a couple inches to the right. The Trijicon is always on.

Love to see a pic once mounted. I like the dial also.

Second season has gotten a little more snow than 3rd it seems to me. For zero point units, I like second season a bit better than 3rd, but you are looking at burning points. Good luck.

I like it. Back in the day it didn't take points for a GS tag. Now it does. LL should get a free application and a free point, but they shouldn't have a guaranteed tag every year unless it is truly an OTC tag.

I doubt the change. It would mean less revenue for the state. I think they will make the change so residents can apply for points in all species and all once in a lifetime and then point creep will be worse, but the state makes more revenue. Now we really need a thread to get the lifetime...

I like it. If you give more public land cow tags, the elk just get pushed more and more to private. Love the idea of having the private shot more cow elk to move the elk off of private and lower the numbers. As much as I love to see public hunting, private land can become a sanctuary.
