Anyone go on this hunt recently? My buddy drew a military only tag then asked me to take him hunting. Not a clue where to start. I have a map of 28 from a oryx hunt a few years ago, so I guess I will just start covering ground.

Can a nonresident purchase a cow tag from a private landowner? I know they are not eligible for the antlerless draw tags.

I drew a off range oryx tag for this December. This is a any weapon hunt, so I will be using one of my smokeless muzzleloaders. A stout charge of H322 that propels a 330 gr APB 2710 fps will make for a dead oryx out as far as I want to shoot (500 yards). Now for 7 months of long range practice.
