Saw a couple of bulls splitting their fifth and sixth this last week hunting bears. Another month and the big boys will be finishing up. It did rain pretty well up there a week ago. We just need at least one more good rain between now and the monsoons. Good luck to those with tags.

I pulled unit 71 4th with 11 points. So negative point creep on that unit. I figured I had drawn my second choice until my points were gone.

And I am grateful to have a general-season archery deer tag. I have a nephew who pulled the elk ridge deer. I have a buddy with a sheep tag and my boys should get Wyoming deer tags and are right in the mix for antelope tags. Should be a good fall. Did you guys get anything down this way?
