If size doesn't matter use your 7pp on unit 75 and have him apply for doe tags 75 he could draw 2 doe tags and you have a great area!! It's not that rough of draw odds to draw a doe tag in 75. Lots of speed goats around.

Had the Rifle tag in 2014 saw a lot of deer in the Tobins north of MT. Tobin. Mostly 3x3's but did see a couple 130-150 4x4's. Ended up taking a 145inch big 3x3 last week of hunt. So deer are there.

Does anybody know what tags are available for the 2nd draw mainly deer.

When I hunted Tobins I only ran into 1 other Hunter the whole 5 days I hunted it. When I hunted 043 ran into a couple parties in the 3 days I hunted it. So if you don't want crowds Tobins is way to go. I just would avoid 046 to many roads and people on quads that don't get off of them.

Hunted North of Mt. Tobin found some average bucks nothing over 160 in 2014. Then went and hunted 043 and found some more average bucks. So lots of average bucks to choice from. Not known for Trophy deer but I'm sure there is a deer or two over 180 somewhere in the unit.

I would avoid those 2 areas and with 7 points 101-109 mid is a bad choice. You can draw better units trust me. 101-109 gets a lot pressure and the mid season hunt would be tough just to find a deer. Look at 043-046 and focus on 045 in that unit a decent buck can come out of the tobins.

With 7 points and buddy zero you'll have 3.5 points and it rounds up to 4. You could still draw some good hunts with 4 points as a resident. If your a Nonresident with 4 points in your group and just want to shoot an average deer look at 031,032,035,043-046, 051, 141-145. Lots of deer in these...

Go hunt the Tobins in 043-046 some giants and the tag can be drawn frequently.

How big how Deer you looking to kill? The hard to draw units will take lots of money and years to draw. But you can hunt average size deer 140-170inch deer in units 032,034,035,041-042,043-046, and 051 and draw a tag every 3 to 5 years I have killed some nice bucks out of Tobin range rifle in...

Two sleeper units I would look at are area 071-079 both Early and Late can produce good 4x4's. A real sleeper is 041, 042 you can find 25-27inch 4x4's in this unit if you get up high.

I know a landowner that used to have a tag for 041,042. He sold it every year for $5k.
