Anybody on these forums know the difference between Caliber and Cartridge?

Anybody hear of a bull killed that supposedly goes 408" but doesn't look anything like a 400 class bull?

Here in Idaho you have to use all lead bullet, loose powder, exposed cap, and open sights. Just wondering what would be considered a good 5 shot group at 100 yrds with that setup?

I recently got back from a Wyoming Deer hunt, and my experience there would lead my to believe the full moon doesn't mean jack sh!t concerning elk behavior. The three days (14th-16th) I was in there the bulls were going crazy. I got to point that I was tired of seeing elk and hearing bulls...

Anybody shot any 35gr V-max? I have .223, and I was thinking of trying them out. Anyone have any load data for the .223 calibure. I'm too cheap to go buy a hornady book. I have some H335 and Varget powder on hand. Will those work? I would very much like to set up a meeting between a rockchuck...
